The aim of the course is simple really:
> To make you more familiar, with both short and long barrelled weapon systems.
> To identify your shooting errors and rectify them in order to improve your accuracy.
> To improve your level of weapon handling skill.
> To make you a more confident and competent firearms user.
This is NOT a tactics course – this is a “personal skills” course, designed to improve everything about your weapon handling, stoppage drills, safe handling, your draw, weapon and shoulder transition and, more importantly, to make you a better shot – do NOT be fooled by sexy looking tactics courses, they do not and will not improve your shooting accuracy and that MUST be the aim of all firearms courses. You have got to be able to hit what you’re shooting at BEFORE you even think about attending a tactics course.
This is one of our courses that works better in smaller groups as it allows our Instructors to have that, all important, personal interaction with you, whilst being cognisant of your own specific requirements.
We do not adhere to any “fixed” training program during the course. Instead, we will go at your pace, have a little fun, throw around a little bit of banter and will only move onto other shooting and handling drills, once we (and you) are confident in your ability.
Sound good? Damn skippy it does…see you down range.
