Hard Extraction Level 2 (VEHOPS)

EXTRACTION – The process of removing yourself and/or 3rd parties from a targeted site.

VEHOPS – Operations using vehicles, as the primary means of insertion and extraction.

The aim of the course, is to insert into a street-scene, vehicle-centric, kinetic environment and extract a 3rd party (downed law enforcement officer, hostage, operator, civilian), when speed, aggression, communication and operational planning are mission critical.

This type of training just CANNOT be conducted on a standard, open range.

We believe that training just doesn’t get anymore realistic than this and it is ideally suited for active shooter training…

course description

The Level 2 (VEHOPS) course dovetails perfectly from the Level 1 course with the addition of an “Operational” second day to practically assess your ability to plan and conduct a hard extraction operation.

Day 1
* Revision of Level 1.
* Management & movement of non-compliant 3rd parties.
* Tactical insertion into a street-scene and/or vehicle-centric environment, in order to extract a 3rd party..

Day 2 – You will be given a scenario brief, threat picture, air-photos and a “model” of your area of operations (AOR)…after that, it’s over to you guys to plan, brief and conduct your Operation, using vehicles as your preferred means of insertion and extraction. You will be given non-compliant, “role-playing” 3rd parties to extract.

This Level 2 course, effectively prepares you to progress to the Level 3 (HELOPS) course.
