Hard Extraction Course

EXTRACTION – The process of tactically removing your self, your team and/or a 3rd party, from a targeted site, whilst under fire.

HARD – It’s not easy.

The aim of the course, is to put you through a series of operationally tested, tactical firearms tradecraft and mechanics exercises, before putting everything together, in a more complex exercise setting,  under as realistic conditions as possible, in order to teach you how to extract from a street-scene contact incident.

Please contact us directly to discuss your requirements.

course description

The “Hard Extraction” concept, is designed to take you through realistic procedures required to extract yourself, from a contact situation, in a street-scene environment.

We will dispel the myths and reinforce the realities of extracting yourself (or a 3rd party) from a vehicle, during a street-scene contact situation.

This three day course concentrates on:

> TACTICAL use of cover (buildings, walls & vehicles)
> Acquiring the threat (engaging lateral and medial threats from cover)
> Fire & movement (the extraction phase)
> Reaction TO a contact from within a vehicle
> Initiating a contact from within a vehicle
> Weapon manipulation (shoulder transitions, weapon transitions, multi-tasking, managing malfunctions ON THE MOVE)
> Communication (quality over quantity – less is more concept)
> Cornering (narrow and wide angels)
> The identification and use of safe havens
> Managing by-standers/pedestrians
> Friendly force identification procedures
> The operational planning and conduct of a live fire, extraction exercise, which you will plan, brief, execute and debrief, with your team

You will be put through force-on-force exercises (using sim-munition) before going Live, on The Street.

Dependent upon the size of your team and how you operationally deploy, you will progress from 1-man team through 2-man team, to 4-man team Extraction exercises.
