course description
> This is a procedural course, designed to dispel the myths and reinforce the realities of initiating a contact, reacting to a contact, and extracting yourself, your team, a colleague, or a 3rd party, from a contact situation, in a street-scene environment, from both a mobile and on-foot, platform.
> The course also covers, the regularly overlooked aspect of post-contact, incident management:
- What do you do once contact has been broken?
- Where do you go once contact has been broken?
- What options are available to you?
- Viability, accessibility and geography of safe havens/
- What friendly forces are coming to get you?
- Dealing with casualties (in a hostile, street scene environment, with no transport).
- Managing civilians.
> Dependent upon the size of your team and how you operationally deploy, you will progress from 1-man team through 2-man team, to 4-man team exercises.
